Many people have and despite the many diets, slimming clubs, plans and programmes, obesity is on the increase and not just in adults – but in children to. Consequently this is having a big impact on our health, causing problems such as diabetes and heart disease.
Most people know what to do to lose weight, they’ve tried many a time but still they remain overweight. Think about this for a moment, the language used in weight management is all very negative…..going on a diet [signals deprivation], weight loss [gives the idea that you are losing something] so we need to change the way we think and talk about reaching our ideal weight. We need a different approach. As the saying goes ‘if you always do what you always did, you’ll always get what you always got!’.
How can I help?
I have had 10 years’ experience of being a slimming leader and have run 1:1 sessions in General Practice to help people achieve their ideal weight, I have an understanding of the battle many people face when trying to manage their weight. The approach I use focuses on realistic goal setting, eating mindfully, listening to our bodies as well as retraining our subconscious, all of which can help on our journey to a healthy body. I use a combination of hypnotherapy, visualisation, NLP, behavioural and conversational techniques as well as practical advice that helps you have the body and the results you want.

The therapy consists of 8 sessions over 6 months and some of the sessions can be done using Skype to fit in with your busy schedule:
Step 1: Book your free 15 mins session to see if I’m the therapist for you. Finding the right therapist is essential as it means you can feel confident, comfortable and relaxed about working with me knowing that you will get the results you want
Step 2: Arrange the dates for your initial 4 weekly sessions
Step 3: Attend all your sessions
Step 4: In between session practice the techniques I will show you and listen regularly to the recordings that I will give you
Step 5: Book your follow on 4 sessions to keep the momentum going
